Biloxi Little Theatre Scholarship

Biloxi Little Theatre is proud to invest in the next generation of artists, leaders, and community members through our annual scholarship program.

Established to recognize students who have contributed to the mission of Biloxi Little Theatre, this scholarship supports graduating high school seniors as they pursue higher education and future career goals. While many recipients have a background in the performing arts, students pursuing any field of study are encouraged to apply.

Each year, Biloxi Little Theatre awards up to $1,000 in scholarship funding. Individual awards may range from $250 to $1,000, depending on the number of qualified applicants and the recommendations of the Board of Directors.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a resident of South Mississippi

• Be a graduating high school senior accepted to a college or university

• Provide documentation of college admission

• Have made a verifiable creative contribution to Biloxi Little Theatre within the past three years as a performer, technician, stage craftsman, volunteer, or in another supporting role

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit:

• A completed scholarship application

• A 250-word essay describing how Biloxi Little Theatre has impacted them and how those experiences may influence their future studies and career

• A brief statement outlining future goals and why they should be considered for the scholarship

• Two letters of recommendation from non-family members, teachers, directors, arts instructors, or community leaders

• Documentation of college admission

Selection Process

Applications are reviewed by the Biloxi Little Theatre Board of Directors. Scholarship recipients are selected by majority vote and will be notified following the review process.
